Envisioning the Promise of Eternal Life: Reflections on our Glorified Bodies
Contemplating the promise of living in our glorified bodies akin to our Savior prompts profound reflection.
Firstly, we're reminded that we are created in the image and likeness of God—a triune Being. In our glorified state, we'll embrace our loved ones, extend our hands in friendship, and even offer gestures of kindness to those we once considered enemies.
Harmony will pervade our existence. Just as the Persons of God dwell in perfect unity, desiring the same outcomes for all creation, we too will experience perfect accord. Conflict and discord will be foreign concepts, replaced instead by the boundless, creative love of God, fostering harmony among all.
Embracing our individuality, we'll find complete contentment in our unique selves, with every facet of our being cherished—our experiences, history, physical attributes, and grace.
And then, there's the anticipation of eternal life—a grand banquet envisioned by Jesus Himself. Picture the splendor, abundance, tantalizing aromas, and delectable flavors, all amidst the company of perfect companions. Visualize white tablecloths, flickering candles in silver holders, and the joyous celebration of life everlasting.
